Q. WHAT ARE THE PRICE RANGES OF YOUR DRESSES?
Our wedding dresses range in price from $500 to $2200, with the majority pricing in around $1000-$1500. Our grad dresses start at about $400 and top out at $1000 max; but the majority average between $500 and $700. Bridesmaid dresses range from $240-$350, women's formal range from $150-$400, and girl's dresses start at $100. In each department we offer a selection of sale dresses for purchase off the rack.
Q. WHAT SIZES ARE YOUR SAMPLES?
Sample sizes vary by designer but we carry a range from bridal size 6-26 with the majority of our samples being 12-22. If your sizing is outside that range, not to worry, we have creative ways of making sure you can experience the look of your desired dress! Our gowns are made to order so depending on the designer we can order from a size 000-36+.
Q. DO I NEED TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT TO TRY ON DRESSES?
Yes! We strongly encourage booking an appointment by calling our store @(306)764-3350 or emailing us. Although we try and accommodate walk-ins, by booking your appointment, you are guaranteed a fitting room, private consultant, and ample time to find your dream dress. If our fitting rooms are already booked, you may have to wait or come back another time.
Q. DO I NEED TO PAY FOR MY APPOINTMENT?
Bridesmaid appointments are $25/per person. This gets you and your girls a private shopping experience, access to all of our fitting rooms, a private consultant, and exclusive access to our boutique for one hour. When your girls find their dresses, the $25 booking fee will go towards the cost of their dress.
At this time, there are no fees to book and attend appointments in our other departments.
Q. WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF PURCHASING A GOWN?
Yay! You've said yes to the dress! Now you have a few options: If the dress is needing to be ordered in a custom size or colour, we will require 50% the total cost of the dress to place the order. The other half is due at the time of pick-up. This is a non-refundable deposit. Once the dress has been ordered, it is a final sale. We also have a layaway option for dresses purchased off the rack. 50% the cost of the dress is required to put a dress on layaway. This is also a non-refundable deposit and the balance owing is due within 30 days of the initial purchase. If the dress is not picked up or paid for within 30 days, late storage fees will be added to your bill every week.
Q. IS THERE A RETURN/CANCELLATION POLICY?
There are no returns/exchanges on dresses or accessories. All sales are final.
Q. HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I BRING?
Less is more! It is definitely better to keep your party limited to 2-4 trusted loved ones as sometimes too many opinions can be overwhelming. If your entourage consists of more than 4 people, let us know at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Q. WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO THE APPOINTMENT?
Besides your beautiful self, we recommend bringing along a pair of nude undergarments. A strapless bra and seamless underwear are perfect! You may also bring shapewear if you prefer. We kindly ask that you keep your makeup light as to keep our gowns free of stains or smudges.
Q. WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING THE APPOINTMENT?
All of our appointments include our undivided attention with a one-on-one consultant in a private fitting room! Grad, formal, and bridesmaid appointments are one-hour, and bridal is an hour and a half. You and your party will browse our selection of gowns all hand picked to suit the unique nature of our modern bride, grad, bridesmaid, etc! If you fall in love with a dress, then we will take your measurements and decide on the best size together via the designer size chart; or we can discuss purchasing off the rack! Then of course, we celebrate!
Q. WHEN SHOULD I START LOOKING/HOW LONG DO DRESSES TAKE TO BE SPECIAL ORDERED?
In order to ensure you’re not rushed with your decision-making, we recommend that you begin dress shopping 10-12 months before your wedding and ordering your dress no later than 9-10 months in advance of the big day! It can take several months for your made-to-order gown to arrive and several weeks in alterations to make it fit like a glove! While some designers can meet a tight deadline, giving yourself more time will save you from undue stress and from any rush fees! Grad dresses take about 4-6 months to arrive, so an optimal time to begin looking is the fall before grad (September/October). Bridesmaids dress take about 4 months to arrive once they are ordered.
